CyberCoders is Hiring an Associate Attorney - Employment Law Near New York, NY
Position OverviewAn Associate Attorney specializing in Employment Law is responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients in matters related to employment discrimination. This individual will handle plaintiff cases and must be licensed to practice law in the state of New York. Key Responsibilities
Conducting legal research and providing sound legal advice to clients regarding employment law matters
Preparing and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
Representing clients in all stages of litigation, including depositions and court appearances
Participating in settlement negotiations and mediation sessions
Keeping clients informed of case developments and answering any legal questions they may have
Maintaining accurate and thorough case files and records
Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure the best possible outcome for clients
Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Experienced in Depositions
Active and in good standing with the New York Bar
2-3 years of experience practicing Employment Law
Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations
Experience with both plaintiff and defense cases preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents
Familiarity with court procedures and rules of evidence
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
