Key Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research and providing sound legal advice to clients regarding employment law matters
- Preparing and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Representing clients in all stages of litigation, including depositions and court appearances
- Participating in settlement negotiations and mediation sessions
- Keeping clients informed of case developments and answering any legal questions they may have
- Maintaining accurate and thorough case files and records
- Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure the best possible outcome for clients
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Experienced in Depositions
- Active and in good standing with the New York Bar
- 2-3 years of experience practicing Employment Law
- Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Experience with both plaintiff and defense cases preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
- Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents
- Familiarity with court procedures and rules of evidence
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
