Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various areas of litigation, including civil, trust, real estate, and commercial litigation. This individual will work closely with our senior attorneys and will have the opportunity to handle a variety of legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court and during legal proceedings
- Conduct legal research and analysis for ongoing cases
- Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case
- Manage and prioritize a caseload effectively
- Provide guidance and support to junior attorneys and legal staff
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state
- 2-3 years of experience in litigation, preferably in civil, trust, real estate, and commercial litigation
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to manage a caseload efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
