Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed audits, reviews, and compilations of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Prepare and review client's financial statements.
- Evaluate the adequacy and accuracy of financial reporting systems.
- Identify areas for potential improvement in accounting systems.
- Conduct audit tests and document results.
- Research and recommend solutions to accounting problems.
- Prepare summary reports and financial statements.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Stay up to date on accounting and auditing regulations and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- CPA certification.
- Experience in Not For Profit, Construction Accounting, and Public Accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
