Position OverviewThe CEI Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction engineering projects, specifically related to transportation infrastructure. This role requires a candidate with strong experience in CEI, construction engineering, and professional engineering. The ideal candidate will also have experience with inspection, PE license, marketing, SPE services, special purpose entities, civil engineering construction, and the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage CEI projects, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards
- Utilize expertise in construction engineering to provide technical guidance and support to project team
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project team members
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality control and identify any potential issues
- Provide marketing support for business development efforts and participate in proposal preparation
- Oversee the preparation of project plans and specifications
- Collaborate with Special Purpose Entities (SPE) to facilitate project execution
- Work closely with civil engineers to ensure all construction activities are in compliance with design plans
- Communicate and coordinate with the Department of Transportation (DOT) to ensure project compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain one within 6 months)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in CEI and construction engineering
- Strong knowledge of transportation infrastructure projects
- Experience with inspection and quality control
- Knowledge of Marketing and proposal preparation
- Experience with Special Purpose Entities (SPE) and civil engineering construction
- Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
