We are seeking a Civil Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accurate estimates of civil projects to ensure completion within budget. In this role, you will be integral to the planning, evaluating, and execution of various civil construction projects.
Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Analyze plans, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates for civil projects.
• Manage the estimating process including preparing and issuing bid documents, attending pre-bid meetings, and collecting bid documents.
• Develop cost estimates for earthwork, underground utilities, roadways, concrete, and other civil projects.
• Perform takeoffs for project materials and identify any discrepancies when necessary.
• Evaluate labor and equipment costs to prepare complete estimates.
• Perform quantity and price calculations to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate bids.
• Assist with preparation of final estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in estimating civil projects.
• In-depth knowledge of civil projects such as subdivisions, sidewalks, utilities, underground utilities, pipelines, wastewater, superior asphalt, asphalt, concrete, DOT, grading, and paving.
• Excellent math and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other estimating software.
