Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead daily activities of drywall installation on commercial construction projects
- Manage and supervise a team of workers, including foremen and framers
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
- Order materials and supplies needed for projects
- Provide guidance and training to team members to ensure high-quality work
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets standards and specifications
- Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records
- 5 years of experience in commercial drywall installation
- Extensive knowledge of drywall techniques, materials, and tools
- Experience with acoustic ceilings and metal stud framing is preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certification or training in drywall installation is a plus
