Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates for paving and asphalt projects.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and quotes.
- Prepare detailed and competitive proposals for clients.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, materials, and construction techniques.
- Proven experience working with roads, highways, bridges, asphalt, concrete and paving.
- Strong understanding of paving and asphalt materials, methods, and costs.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
