Salary: $90k-$120k
Requirements: 4 Years Experience as Construction Estimator on commercial or industrial projects
This is a full time/ permanent position with a leading general contractor specializing in commercial construction. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality results, innovative solutions, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team and help us continue to achieve our goals.
The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and materials. The Estimator will work closely with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure all estimates are comprehensive and align with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to understand the scope of work.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Analyze project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project budgets.
  • Conduct site visits to gather information and verify existing conditions.
Qualifications:
  • 4 years of experience in estimating commercial or Industrial construction projects.
  • Proficiency in estimating software.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
