OverviewThe Construction Law Associate will provide legal support and advice to clients in the construction industry, including contractors, sub-contractors, architects, engineers, and project owners. The associate will assist with a wide range of construction-related legal matters, including contract negotiation, project documentation, dispute resolution, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction law and be able to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and draft construction contracts, subcontract agreements, and other project-related documents
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on construction-related matters
- Assist with project risk assessment and management
- Advise clients on compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Assist with the resolution of construction-related disputes, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation
- Conduct legal research and analysis on construction law issues
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in construction laws and regulations
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing
- 3 years of experience practicing construction law
- Strong understanding of construction law, regulations, and industry practices
- Experience drafting and negotiating construction contracts and project documents
- Experience with Construction transactions, and disputes involving large commercial buildings, mixed-use, retail, industrial and government projects
