CyberCoders is Hiring a Control System Engineer - HMI/ PLC/ Robotics Programming Near Durham, NC
Position: Control Systems EngineerAn established manufacturing company is seeking a highly skilled Control System Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in HMI and PLC programming from scratch, with a strong background in industrial automation and custom projects. Hands on experience with AB/ Allen Bradely PLC, Rockwell, Fanuc, and a huge plus for CoDeSyS/ IEC 61131-3. Position OverviewThe Control System Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for our manufacturing processes. They will work closely with our production team to ensure efficient and effective operation of our equipment and processes. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement control systems for manufacturing processes
Program and troubleshoot HMI and PLC systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems
Create and maintain technical documentation for control systems
Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to control systems
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
Provide technical support to production team for control system related issues
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in writing code/ programming from scratch
Proficiency in HMI, PLC, and robotics programming
Experience with robotics automation, Fanuc programming, or other industrial automation tools
Strong understanding of custom projects and industrial automation processes
Familiarity with Allen Bradley and Rockwell systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
CoDeSyS experience a huge plus!
