We are now looking for a seasoned controller to manage all accounting and financial operations in our company. The Controller will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial well-being, offering strategic direction to the executive team, and guaranteeing adherence to legal and regulatory obligations. The ideal applicant will have a solid history in finance analysis, accounting, and leadership and will be able to apply best practices, expedite workflow, and provide outcomes. What You Will be Doing

• Financial Reporting: Oversee accurate preparation of financial statements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets and forecasts.
• Cost Accounting: Implement systems to capture and control production costs.
• Process Improvement: Work closely with presidents and directors to Identify and implement financial process improvements.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Internal Controls: Develop and maintain internal controls to protect assets.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance and accounting team.

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• 5 years of accounting and financial management experience, ideally in legal or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; legal accounting software is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to high ethical standards and confidentiality.
