Position Overview: We are looking for a Remote Controller in the Real Estate industry to join our team. The Controller will be responsible for managing our accounting functions, overseeing our financials and ensuring accuracy of all financial records related to our real estate portfolio.
Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and prepare accurate and timely financial reports to management
• Ensure accurate and timely bank reconciliation
• Prepare and control budgets for all real estate properties
• Manage bank draws and leverage existing resources and procedures to improve processes
• Draft, review, and approve financial documents for accuracy and completeness
• Develop and maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• Manage and oversee the use of Docker Accounts

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
• 5 years of experience in Real Estate accounting
• Proficient in the use of Docker Accounts, AR and AP
• Strong knowledge of financial principles and budgeting practices
• Strong organizational and communication skills
