- Job Title: Automation Controls Engineer
- Job Location: Fort Collins, CO
- Job Type: Direct Hire / Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical control systems, including PLC's, VFD's and motor controls.
- Install and maintain electrical control systems and related equipment.
- Write instructions and manuals for control systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug control systems and related equipment.
- Perform research and development of new control systems and technologies.
- Create electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Review technical documentation and provide feedback.
- Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient and reliable operation of control systems.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in controls engineering.
- Knowledge of PLC's, HMI's, VFD's, Motor Controls, Sensors, Electrical Schematics, Automation and Control and SCADA systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
