Job Location: San Jose, CA (onsite)
Salary: $80k-$120k DOE
Requirements: 3 yrs Accounting experience General Ledger Experience
We are a well established commercial construction company who has been serving the Bay Area for over 50 years. We are looking to add a Job Cost Accountant to our team to be responsible for managing and maintaining our accounting of job costs.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review job cost reports and reconcile accounts on a regular basis.
- Analyze and allocate costs to various jobs and labor categories.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare and review weekly and monthly cash flow projections.
- Maintain State Disability Insurance compliance.
- Assist in creating and implementing internal controls.
- Reconcile and maintain accounts receivable and payable.
- Prepare and review journal entries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 3 yrs Accounting experience
- General Ledger experience
- Experience using payment management software - ideally Textura
- Strong with Excel
- Experience recording monthly SDI
- Construction industry experience
- CPA
