What You Will Be Doing
- Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Monitor network traffic, system logs, and security alerts to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
- Manage antivirus and encryption tools to protect against malware and unauthorized access.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
- Administer access controls and permissions for users and systems.
- Conduct vulnerability testing and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the network and systems.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 3 years as a Cybersecurity Engineer
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, and encryption tools.
- Proficiency in network protocols and cloud security.
- Familiarity with tools such as Entra ID, Zscaler, and vulnerability testing tools.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
