The Director of Internal Audit will be responsible for leading the internal audit function and providing independent and objective assurance to management to help the organization accomplish its objectives. The Director will provide leadership and oversight of all internal audit activities including audit planning, risk assessment, audit programs, audit plans, and execution. The Director will also provide guidance on financial analysis, internal auditing standards, compliance, risk management, budget management, and accounting principles.
What You Will Need

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Audit and Internal Audit.
• Experience in audit planning, risk assessment, and audit programs.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and risk management techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and budget management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit/accounting software.

• Develop and execute the internal audit plan.
• Lead the risk assessment process to identify and evaluate risks.
• Develop audit programs and plans to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Conduct financial and operational audits.
• Analyze financial and operational data.
• Provide written and oral reports on audit findings and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Monitor and review internal controls and systems.
• Train and develop audit team members.
• Develop and implement internal audit procedures.
• Maintain relationships with external auditors.
