Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Preconstruction process, including development of cost estimates, coordination of subcontractor bid packages, value engineering reviews, and project scheduling.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and other project consultants.
- Monitor project budgets and provide cost savings and value engineering advice.
- Assist in the review and negotiation of subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Attend project meetings to provide project support.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on project progress.
- Ensure Preconstruction team meets all project deadlines.
- Provide training and mentorship to Preconstruction staff.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Estimating, Preconstruction, and Construction.
- Familiarity with different types of construction contracts and an understanding of construction costs.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software.
