We're seeking a Group Health/ Employee Benefits Account Executive who's a self-starter, lead-generating machine, that knows the product lines and how to build a book of business. Position Overview: The Employee Benefits Risk Advisor position is responsible for generating new leads and bringing in new business from small to large companies for our Group Health products. The position requires an enhanced insight into Group Health products for employer employees, medical terminology, and the ability to manage accounts for client retention and networking opportunities.
Key Responsibilities

• Network in your community and generate new business to grow your book of business.
• Know how to get in touch with the decision-makers and overcome objections.
• Conduct presentations when necessary to employers and sometimes employees.
• Be a subject matter expert and point of contact for current or potential clients.
• Grow and maintain a lucrative book of business.
• Be a mentor for other sales reps.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a Group Health or Employee Benefits sales environment.
• Highly knowledgeable of group health/ employee benefits packages, not Medicare or ancillary products.
• Active Life and Health License in your state.
• Ability and know how to self generate leads, network, and generate new business while managing renewals.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Experienced self- starter with an entrepreneur mentality that doesn't need hand holding.
