Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental site assessments, including Phase I and II assessments and remediation
- Collect and analyze environmental data, including soil, groundwater, soil vapor, and free product recovery samples
- Evaluate and interpret environmental data to determine the impact of hazardous substances on human health and the environment
- Prepare technical reports, including site assessment reports and remediation plans
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including CERCLA and SPCC plans
- Coordinate with clients, regulators, and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Assist with business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- 3 years of experience in environmental consulting and field work
- Experience with USTs, including underground storage tank closures and removals
- Strong technical writing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces
- Experience with OSHA safe work practices and hazardous waste management
- Knowledge of scientific and technical principles related to environmental assessments and remediation
- Willingness to travel for field work and remote work assignments
- Experience with long term monitoring and plan preparation
