Responsibilities
- Analyze Blueprints: Review project blueprints and specifications to prepare accurate estimates for HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Cost Estimation: Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs for each project.
- Vendor Coordination: Obtain quotes from vendors and subcontractors.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate estimates.
- Cost-Effectiveness Assessment: Evaluate cost-effectiveness of products and solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, and project progress.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure estimates align with project requirements and budget constraints.
- 5 years of experience in estimating mechanicals (required) and plumbing (preferred)
- Experience with large commercial projects, including industrial, manufacturing, municipalities, universities, education, and/or healthcare.
- Competitive salary ($110k-$160k DOE)
