CyberCoders is Hiring an Estimator - Residential Construction Near Charlotte, NC
Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our Residential Construction team. This person should have a comprehensive understanding of the construction planning process and be able to accurately calculate job costs. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for a variety of residential projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Review project construction plans, specifications, and related documents to develop accurate estimates.
- Perform quantitative take-offs to determine the material and labor requirements for a project.
- Analyze labor and material costs to determine the overall cost of a project.
- Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to negotiate material and labor costs.
- Provide value engineering analysis to identify cost-saving solutions.
- Review estimates with project team members to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Track project progress against the estimate to make sure that all costs are accounted for.
- Create reports to track changes in budget and timeline due to project scope adjustments.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in the Residential Homebuilder industry with a focus on estimating.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction planning and cost estimation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
