What You Will Be Doing
- Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to understand the scope of work
- Conduct a thorough analysis of project requirements, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor needs
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to clarify project details and identify any potential challenges or opportunities
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from project drawings and specifications
- 5 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Background in mechanical insulation industry
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials, methods, and equipment
- Familiarity with cost databases, industry benchmarks, and pricing sources
- Ability to perform accurate quantity takeoffs, cost estimates and accurate conceptual budgets
- Competitive salary ($80-115k)
