Position Summary:

The Marine/Cruise Lines Field Service Engineer can be based anywhere between Ft. Lauderdale and Miami, Florida.Key Responsibilities:

· Performs general and advanced repairs on MEIKO commercial dishwashers and ware-washing systems located onboard cruise line ships. Shipboard maintenance could take place during port visits, while underway (sailing with the ship), or in Drydock.

· Installs MEIKO dishwashers on marine ships when required.

· Participates and leads personnel during drydock projects.

· Attends to high profile accounts to address operational/training issues.

· Provides detailed customer assistance efforts by way of ship visits, training, phone calls, e-mails, etc.

· Promotes company professionalism and customer assuredness.

This key position requires a professional with a strong desire to provide exemplary customer service in an industry that is unique.

The position reports directly to the Sr. Marine/Cruise Line Service Manager in Florida.

Requirements:

· Foodservice Repair Industry, including dishwasher repair experience, is required.

· Strong mechanical and electrical background, with the ability to troubleshoot systems using schematics, volt meters, and printed materials.

• Experience in the Cruise line business is a plus.
• Ability to file accurate reports upon installation/service completion.
• Excellent customer relations skills/follow-up skills/organizational skills.
• Must be self-motivated and have good time management skills.
• Willingness to travel to immediate and surrounding areas on short notice as needed, travel time approximately 50% of job.
• Ability to train individuals or groups on operational or maintenance tasks of MEIKO equipment.
