Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data and financial system processes to make recommendations for system improvements
- Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP and other applicable regulations and standards
- Develop and implement budgeting strategies that accurately forecast future financial performance
- Perform trend analysis to identify financial risks and opportunities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reporting packages, including financial statements, budget versus actual analyses, and cash flow statements
- Work with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- Provide guidance on complex financial matters
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or related field
- Prior experience in financial management, accounting, and budgeting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, taxation laws, and financial regulations
- Experience with financial systems, including SAP Oracle, Net Suite, Sage, and Quick Books
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
