We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable, and performing reconciliations. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and experience in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general accounting duties such as reconciliations, journal entries, and other financial transactions
- Maintain accounts receivable, accounts payable, and banking information
- Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities
- Assist with the preparation and review of budgets, financial forecasts, and performance reporting
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
- Other tasks, as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Proficiency with accounting and financial software applications
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, principles, and procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
