Position Overview: The Fire Protection Designer plays a critical role in designing and managing fire protection systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings.
The Designer must possess a comprehensive understanding of fire protection systems, including sprinkler, detection, alarms, and suppression systems, and applying this knowledge to improve and protect life safety systems. The Fire Protection Designer works with clients to develop and design fire protection systems while ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, regulations and standards.

• Candidates that complete the applicant questionnaire will be prioritized in the review process.

Qualifications

• 3 to 10 years in Fire Protection Design or Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE), NICET certification, or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred (not required).
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or other modeling software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
