Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to transport goods and materials throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload shipments, verifying accuracy of orders and checking for damages or defects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that safety protocols are followed at all times
- Perform routine maintenance on the forklift and report any issues or malfunctions
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, and productivity
- Collaborate with other warehouse team members and communicate effectively with supervisors
- Valid forklift operator certification and experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
- Knowledge of HAACP and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends as needed
