Our firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2 years of experience in commercial and civil litigation work to join our Pittsburgh office. In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal representation to clients in a wide range of litigation matters. The ideal candidate should have experience in all aspects of civil litigation and commercial litigation, including but not limited to, client communication, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery; taking and defending depositions; and legal research. Provide representation to clients in a variety civil and commercial litigation matters
Handle cases from intake to fruition
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop and execute creative legal strategies for clients
Ability to draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
Take and defend depositions
Conduct legal research and analyze legal issues
Keep and open and clear line of communication with clients
Provide timely and accurate advice to clients
Attend court hearings
Qualifications
Juris Doctor from accredited law school
Licensed to practice in PA
2 years of commercial and civil litigation experience
Strong legal research and writing skills
Excellent client communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
