Position Overview: The Litigation Attorney will provide legal advice and advocacy in civil litigation matters. The attorney will be responsible for representing clients in court, negotiating settlements, and drafting legal documents. Key Responsibilities
Conducting legal research, gathering evidence, and interviewing witnesses
Drafting, filing, and arguing legal motions and pleadings
Preparing and presenting cases in court
Negotiating settlements with opposing counsel
Counseling clients on legal matters
Providing advice on legal matters related to commercial and employment law
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in FL
4 years of experience in commercial and/or employment litigation
Knowledge of federal and state laws related to commercial and employment litigation.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
