You'll be doing!
- Case Management: Assist in managing wage and hour class action cases from inception through resolution, ensuring all deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
- Document Preparation: Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive legal research and factual investigations to support case strategies and arguments.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to gather information, provide updates, and ensure their needs are addressed throughout the litigation process.
- Trial Preparation: Organize and maintain case files, prepare trial binders, and assist attorneys during trial preparations and proceedings.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys and other legal staff to support all aspects of case development and litigation.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in employment law or class action litigation.
- Proficiency in legal research and document management software.
- Nice to have! Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent experience.
- Reliable commute to or plans to relocate to Oakland, CA (94612)
