Position Overview: The Mechanical Design Engineer will use their design and engineering skills to develop and maintain detailed designs for custom automation and robotic workcells. They will also analyze drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements for automated systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design custom automation systems
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements for automated systems
- Develop detailed drawings of complex mechanical systems
- Work with the engineering team to ensure optimal system design and performance
- Test and debug final designs, and document performance results
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field with 5 YOE
- Extensive experience in SolidWorks design
- Experience in designing automated systems and robotic workcells
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex engineering requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot design issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
