Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - HVAC
Job Location: Hamden, CT
Job Salary: $70-100k performance bonus (Potential to go higher for the right experience)
Requirements: HVAC, AutoCAD/Revit, Mechanical Engineering
We are a growing full-service architectural and engineering company based in beautiful Hamden, CT. Our business model focuses on projects involving expansions, new construction, building modifications, renovate-as-new, and more. Due to our stable growth and increasing client work, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team!
Ideal candidates will have experience with building-related mechanical engineering, HVAC system design, and AutoCAD proficiency.
It will be highly preferred if you have experience with Revit, High-Performance Projects, LEED, and/or your PE license.

What You Will Be Doing

• Leading HVAC system projects for specific buildings in our portfolio.
• Using AutoCAD and Revit for mechanical designs.
• Utilizing your strong understanding of building systems and applications to coordinate with other departments on projects.
• Reviewing building codes and standards.
• Communicating with highly cross-functional teams on a project basis.

Must Have Skills

• AutoCAD
• HVAC
• Building-related Mechanical Engineering

Pluses (Not Required)

• Revit
• Other building systems designs
• LEED certification
• Professional Engineer License/EIT
• High-Performance Project experience
