Location: Cantonment, FL
Salary: $75k-$95k (DOE) with full benefits
Position Overview: The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems. The engineer will be required to design components, produce computer-generated drawings, and use CAD/CAM software to create detailed designs. This position will also involve quality assurance testing for design and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design components and systems using CAD/CAM software.
- Develop assembly and installation instructions.
- Conduct quality assurance tests for design and manufacturing processes.
- Perform preventive maintenance checks and troubleshooting on mechanical systems.
- Create computer-generated drawings of designs and components.
- Implement Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and 5S principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficient in SolidWorks, CAD, AutoCAD, 3D, and 2D software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
