Position Overview: The Operations and Fleet Manager will manage and oversee the organizations fleet operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing activities related to fleet operations, fleet maintenance, route planning, vehicle tracking, vehicle performance testing, and DOT compliance.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the organizations fleet operations
• Develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations
• Plan and coordinate routes and schedule vehicle maintenance as needed
• Track vehicle performance, location, and utilization
• Perform vehicle performance testing and keep records of vehicle maintenance
• Ensure adherence to DOT regulations and compliance
• Provide reports to senior management as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business administration, operations management, or related field
• 3 years of experience in operations management, fleet management, or related field
• Strong knowledge of fleet operations, fleet maintenance, and DOT regulations
• Proficiency in route planning, vehicle tracking, and vehicle performance testing
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
