Position Overview: The Program Leader will be responsible for building and scaling a program within a niche market for our organization. You will be bringing previous experience, knowledge and expertise on how to effectively build out a niche program of your choosing. We are looking for an entrepreneurial minded underwriter who has expertise in a niche market with strong industry and carrier relationships. This position requires a highly motivated individual with great leadership, program management, and underwriting expertise.
Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead the program, driving strategy and operational performance on all components related to the program.
• Create a business plan on how to find capacity and leverage existing brokerage relationships to bring the program to profitability.
• Liaise with company owners and partners to ensure mutual understanding and review progress of the program.
• Develop program-specific policies and procedures.
• Handle the creation of rates and take care of all filings/forms specific to the program.
• Provide guidance and coaching on underwriting best practices related to the respective market.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required.
• 5 years of experience in program management, underwriting, and/or underwriting leadership.
• Previous experience building, developing and managing underwriting Programs.
• Strong industry relationships you can leverage to help secure capacity & distribution networks.
