Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage heavy civil projects from conception to completion
- Ensure project timelines are met and within budget
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
- Perform site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Prepare and review project documents such as plans, specifications, and reports
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and challenges
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in heavy civil construction projects
- Strong knowledge and understanding of heavy civil construction practices and standards
- Experience with excavating, underground, grading, utilities, wastewater, piping, paving, lift station, roadway construction, construction, and pump stations
- Experience in managing project budgets and schedules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
