Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of project plans, including budget, timeline, and scope of work.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Review and approve submittals and RFI's to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Manage change orders and communicate any changes to project stakeholders.
- Create and maintain project schedules, including identifying critical path activities and potential delays.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any construction issues that arise.
- Prepare and submit progress reports to project managers and clients.
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety regulations and building codes.
- Provide support for the closeout process, including final inspections and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering or construction management.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes and techniques.
- Experience with submittals, RFI's, change orders, and project scheduling software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
