Due to recent growth within our organization, we are in need of hiring an experienced project manager with a strong background in managing a variety of commercial flooring projects.
- Position Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of commercial flooring projects, including coordinating staff, subcontractors, materials, and equipment. The Project Manager is a key member of the team, responsible for successful on-time and on-budget completion of all flooring projects.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Manage and motivate project teams to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Sales: Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with end-users, general contractors, and the A&D community.
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of projects, including development of project plans, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, etc.
- Cost and Quality: Ensure quality of products and services, and ensure cost control, including material and labor.
- Communication: Maintain regular contact with customers, vendors, and team members to ensure a successful project.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development for team members to ensure adherence to safety regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field.
- 5 years of experience in commercial flooring project management.
- Established book of business including end-users, general contractors, and A&D
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with MS Office and project management software.
- Base Salary: $70,000-$100,000 Commission
