Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Peoria, AZ (Light Travel to West of Mississippi such as Oklahoma and Texas on an as needed basis)
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 Annual Base Salary (DOE), Comprehensive Benefits, PTO, Vehicle Allowance, Covered Travel Expenses
Requirements: 3 years as a project manager in construction GC for retail, restaurants, tenant improvements
I am currently working with a General Contracting Company based out of Peoria, AZ. They focus on high-end retail and restaurants that need tenant improvements. From time to time they will take on ground-up work but it is rare. Due their increase in business, they're looking to add a Project Manager to upcoming and urgent projects.
The Project Manager will work in a team environment with a Superintendent, APM, Coordinator, Accountant, etc. and have 100% ownership of the project from cradle to grave. Projects last anywhere from 12-20 weeks and can be located anywhere West of Mississippi River such as Oklahoma and Texas. Some traveling will be required but mainly overnight/day trips anywhere from 3-4 times per project. You could be traveling to a site one day a week then in the office in Peoria for next 3-4 weeks (dependent on the project health on an as needed basis).
Job Duties

• Review construction paperwork and create subcontractor scopes
• Review subcontractor proposals to create a client proposal
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors and subcontractors
• Budgeting, bidding, and awarding subcontractors and material suppliers
• Work with multiple projects simultaneously
• POC between company teams and external resources
• Communicate with the project team about drawings, RFI's, shop drawings and material submittals
• Make sure all records of drawings are up to date so proper installations occurs
• Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects stay within scope of budget and scheduled on time
• Identify road blocks in construction progress and help resolve them with project team
• Ensure subcontractor is fully executing their scope of work
