Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer Specialist (MEP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MEP systems and possess a deep knowledge of quality assurance processes related to construction projects. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with USACE standards and CQM requirements, as well as implementing and maintaining quality control measures throughout all stages of the project.
As a Quality Engineer Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality MEP systems to our clients.

As a Quality Engineer Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality MEP systems to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for MEP systems, ensuring compliance with USACE standards and CQM requirements
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues
- Collaborate with project teams to establish quality control protocols and guidelines
- Review and approve all MEP system designs, materials, and equipment to ensure they meet quality standards
- Create and maintain detailed quality assurance reports and documentation
- Train and educate project teams on quality control processes and procedures
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on all quality-related matters
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance quality control processes and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future quality issues
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP quality control, preferably in the construction industry
- Experience working with USACE and CQM standards and requirements
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and their components
- Certifications in Quality Management, such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma, are preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
