Salary range: $120,000 - $140,000 base (plus target bonus eligibility)

Role Overview:
Lead and manage complex projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget, schedule, and quality parameters. Oversee and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve or exceed project goals and client expectations. Provide strategic direction and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Advocates for excellence in project delivery, embodying the principles of integrity, honesty, unity, safety, and quality workmanship.
  • Collaborates effectively with counterparts, ensuring seamless coordination and strengthened client relationships.
  • Provides guidance and support to project teams, emphasizing adherence to project management best practices and company protocols.
  • Assumes direct accountability for project costs and profitability, driving efficient resource allocation.
  • Contributes to project estimation and budgeting efforts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
  • Leads the development of comprehensive project management plans, outlining key milestones and strategies for success.
  • Engages in value engineering initiatives as appropriate, optimizing project outcomes while controlling costs.
  • Facilitates pre-construction planning meetings to ensure alignment of project objectives and expectations.
  • Participates actively in contract negotiations and subcontractor management, overseeing regulatory compliance and permitting processes.
  • Develops and maintains project schedules, monitoring progress and addressing deviations in coordination with project stakeholders.
  • Conducts regular site visits to monitor project performance in terms of quantity, cost, safety, and quality.
  • Manages change orders effectively, evaluating cost and profit implications and negotiating agreements with stakeholders.
  • Ensures accuracy of job cost documentation and coordinates payment processes with accounting personnel.
  • Facilitates project closeout procedures, including documentation, quality assessments, and client acceptance.
  • Conducts post-completion reviews, providing valuable insights to inform future estimating and marketing efforts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. (High-rise and Multifamily experience required)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management, 8 years experience in commercial construction projects within High-rise and Multifamily sectors, emphasizing post-tension techniques.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, showcasing strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a knack for delegation, adept at fostering teamwork to achieve common goals.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for making persuasive presentations and facilitating effective dialogue with diverse stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of estimating principles, enabling verification of bids, assessment of market rates, and management of change orders.
  • Familiarity with contractual language and concepts, coupled with sound knowledge of construction laws and regulations, ensuring legal compliance while delivering superior service to clients.
  • Proficiency in interpreting building codes, design requirements, and technical documents such as plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills honed through at least one year of experience in contract negotiations.
  • Exemplifies integrity and ethical conduct in all job-related activities, consistently delivering reliable outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders.
