In this role, you will work closely with our local leadership team to oversee our daily accounting and finance operations. We are looking for someone who can work independently, with the utmost integrity, and who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provides insight and analyzes important financial topics such as working capital, operating costs, gross profit margins, and sales.
- Oversees and assists in all accounting processes, such as revenue recognition, cost accounting, inventory accounting, billing, and A/R, A/P, and GL.
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensures that business processes and accounting policies are being followed, and provides ongoing support for maintaining and strengthening internal controls.
- Oversees the application of ERP software to guarantee data accuracy and process adherence.
- Provides support for any audit questions
- Evaluates and comprehends the pipeline and backlog of upcoming projects in order to create short- and long-term forecasts for our company.
- Analyzes variances from budget and prior periods, discusses findings, and makes recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Involved in larger-scale modeling and contracting to ensure accurate profitability forecasting.
- Working cross-functionally with various departments as needed.
- Other duties as needed.
- 7 years of Strong Accounting Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar discipline
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Prior experience with project management finance is preferred
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred
