What You Will Be DoingIdentify/analyze project requirements, defines project scope, and deliverables with attention to customer requirements.
Manage project status reports, create/coordinate project schedules, identify/resolves technical problems.
Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously ranging from $1,000,000 to $10,000,000.
Coordinate schedules and manages weekly project meetings.
Coordinate project activities, ensuring all project phases are documented correctly.
Prepare and maintain a budget for each project.
Monitor material acquisition, outside purchases and installations.
An ideal candidate will haveREQUIRED- Bachelors Degree - Civil, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, associate Construction Management or Construction Technology
Expediting License
8 years General Construction Large projects & Management, Materials Handling, Structural Steel or Steel Racks
Knowledgeable of material handling and warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures
Structural Steel or Steel Racking a HUGE plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to deal with other trades on a project site
Ability to travel up to 30% which is deemed necessary to maintain project schedule
