Position Overview
- Oversee the daily management of construction projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Organize and coordinate onsite personnel and equipment
- Communicate project progress with personnel and project stakeholders
- Review plans and blueprints to ensure all safety and building codes are met
- Coordinate activities with other departments, vendors, and contractors
- Maintain records of project costs, materials used, and labor hours
- Ensure that quality standards are met and work meets all applicable codes and regulations
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on road and bridge construction projects
- Expert knowledge of concrete, asphalt, and road/bridge construction
- Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and managerial skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
