Key Responsibilities
- Ensure projects are completed according to established safety standards, contract specifications, and quality control standards.
- Prepare material purchase orders, monitor material and labor expenses, and maintain on-site records.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, vendors, and workers.
- Resolve problems that arise in the course of the work.
- Accurately interpret and apply standards and specifications.
- Perform supervisory and administrative functions related to the management of projects.
- Ensure timely completion of projects and accurate tracking of project costs.
- Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in construction, superintendent, general contracting, power plant, and/or heavy civil.
- Strong knowledge of principles of construction and contracting.
- Excellent leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Thorough understanding of construction safety regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
