Position: Superintendent - High End Restaurant & Retail Construction
Overview: We are looking for an experienced Superintendent with expertise in high end restaurant and retail construction. The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for excellence and understands the importance of meeting deadlines. The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects to ensure that deadlines are met and that they are up to code and within budget.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, and monitor construction projects from beginning to end, including project team meetings, scheduling, subcontractor management, and budget management.
• Communicate with project stakeholders, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that all aspects of the project are being met in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all projects are up to code and within budget.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and that all work is completed in a safe manner.
• Prepare bids and negotiate with subcontractors.
• Resolve any issues that arise throughout the project.
• Provide progress reports to project stakeholders.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure that all projects meet the standards set by the company.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in retail and restaurant construction.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Bid preparation and subcontractor negotiation experience.
• Experience with Big Box retail construction is a plus.
• Ability to travel for project sites as needed.
