Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a CPA certification and experience in both corporate and partnership tax. This individual will be responsible for managing the tax planning, compliance, and provision processes for our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liability
- Prepare and review tax returns, including 1120, 1065, and income tax returns
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
- Oversee the preparation of tax provision calculations and financial statement disclosures
- Provide guidance and training to junior tax staff
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax information
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and make recommendations for process improvements
- CPA certification is required
- Strong knowledge of corporate and partnership tax laws and regulations
- Experience preparing and reviewing 1120, 1065, and income tax returns
- Knowledge of tax provision calculations and financial statement disclosures
- Master's degree is a HUGE plus
- Salary: $100K-$180K/yr DOE
