Tax Manager
The Tax Manager will play a critical role in providing the highest level of excellence in tax operations and client service for our organization. The Tax Manager will work with teams of professionals to develop and execute strategies related to taxes and compliance. The ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge of the principles, practices, and regulations pertaining to taxes, as well as superior organizational skills and an eye for detail. The Tax Manager must also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work independently.
Position Overview: The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organizations tax operations, including but not limited to, federal, state, and local income tax returns, tax provision, and tax compliance. The Tax Manager will be required to stay up-to-date on the latest tax regulations and be able to analyze and interpret their impact on the organization. The Tax Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize potential savings.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the organizations tax strategy, including federal, state, and local taxes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and tax authorities.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filing deadlines.
• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, nonprofit entities, and corporations.
• Research and analyze changes in tax regulations and their impact on the organization.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
• Identify potential tax savings and prepare strategies to maximize the organizations tax benefits.
• Stay current on the latest tax regulations and practices.
• Advise on the potential impact of new tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• CPA required
• Bachelors degree, Masters preferred
• Five years or more
