Traveling Construction SuperintendentThe Traveling Construction Superintendent will oversee and manage all aspects of retail and commercial construction projects. This role requires an experienced professional with a strong background in retail and commercial construction management, including a thorough understanding of project management principles and techniques. Key Responsibilities
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project progress and quality meets company standards
Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Direct and supervise construction crews and subcontractors
Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
Maintain accurate project documentation and records
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Travel to various project sites as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail and commercial construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of project management principles and techniques
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
Ability to travel frequently and work on multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures
