Position Overview

We are seeking a Trusts & Estates Litigation Attorney, with 2 years of experience in representing clients in all areas of trusts and estates. You will be responsible for representing clients in legal disputes relating to trusts, estates, probate, guardianship, and tax matters. Your role will involve providing legal advice, conducting research, and representing clients in court. You will work closely with clients and other legal professionals to ensure the protection and proper distribution of assets in accordance with trust and estate laws. Key Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation
• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations
• Provide legal advice to clients on trust and estate matters
• Assist with trust administration, tax planning, and other related matters
• Collaborate with other legal professionals, such as paralegals and attorneys, to ensure a successful outcome for clients
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documents
• Stay updated on changes in trust and estate laws and regulations

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active NY state bar admission and in good standing
• 2 years of experience in trusts and estates litigation
• Strong knowledge of trust and estate laws and regulations
• Experience with trust administration, tax planning, and guardianship matters(Article 81 experience is a plus)
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines
• Experience with accounting and financial litigation is a plus
